The market value of the shares increased to Rs 39,988 crore after it closed on March 22, 2017. This ranked it as the 65th most valuable company in India, surpassing Bank of Baroda, Marico, and Britannia Industries.[8] With a market valuation of around Rs 114,000 Cr as of November 21, 2019, DMart is the 33rd largest company listed on the Bombays.
